Vlad Tenev is the co-founder and CEO of Robinhood, the financial services company known for popularizing commission-free stock trading among retail investors. He co-founded Robinhood in 2013 with Stanford colleague Baiju Bhatt. He was born in Bulgaria and later emigrated to the United States as a child.
