Jim Walton is the youngest son of Walmart founder Sam Walton. He co-manages Walton Enterprises, the family office that helps control about 44% of Walmart, and has also been involved with Arvest Bank and the family’s newspaper business, Community Publishers. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1971 and joined Walmart to work on real estate transactions before taking on broader family business roles.[1]
