Garrett Camp is a Canadian entrepreneur best known as a co-founder of Uber, originally conceived as UberCab in 2008 with Travis Kalanick. Britannica notes that Camp first envisioned the company as a black-car service accessible through a smartphone app before the ride-hailing focus emerged.[1]
